This will also be the first time that masculine and feminine stars of the discipline will take part in a official round of the World Cup. This will be the great innovation of the world season: the official creation of a XCO World Cup open to the junior category. Following the example of some countries hosting the world challenge, Houffalize had anticipated the UCI’s initiative by organizing these last years a race specifically reserved to the juniors (men and women). This category reserved to the new generation will see the future stars of the XCO compete on Saturday 2nd May of the seniors’ circuit. This time, within the framework of an official UCI challenge.
